I make 18 in two months but my parents agrounding me for six. Is that even legal?? I see it as.. I'm an "adult" legally and they have no say. But I want them to just not all of it. Please explain this to me...

I agree with this posters ur under their roof it is their rules. u need to go by what they say. I too was 18 years old at one time and I need want I was told. The day I left home is the day I got married at the age of 23, But when living at home I had to help pay my way. I had not free ride like some would think. U should look at this way U really have it easy in so many ways. Td not many kids could make it on their own. I have seen many kids moving back home and looking for a hand out from their mommy and daddy's. So yes it is legal.
Huni... you are living under their roof... they make the rules... i know when i was turning 18 i thought the same way... but.... i was told when you get out on your own and you are taking care of yourself you can then and only then make your own rules....
No, at 18 you are of legal age. However, as long as you live in their home, you need to do as they tell you or on the flip side of that coin... be told to move out. It is legal for them to do that. Question is... are you ready to make it out in the world? Trust me, it is not as easy as it looks.
