Hi girls. I have been noticing that me period blood has been kind of pinkish and not that much red. should I be worried? I am sexually active and have been for quite some days now. I have not told my mom yet... should I?

I would mention it to your mom and have her schedule you for a gyno visit. Since you're asking this question I have to assume you're young and haven't had your period for very long. If you haven't had the examine it's a good idea to schedule a visit and the doctor can explain what is going on with your body and what to expect. The doctor can educate you better than asking for advice on a web site. Since you're sexually active they can explain the risk associated with unprotected sex such as prenancy and diseases. Please for your own well being see a doctor!!!!

Yes tell your mom that ur having sex, and how old are u to being with. As for has ur period being on the pink side that happens from time to time. I really dont see anything to be worried about.
