Any time you come across a defective product contact the manufacturer. They always want to hear about something that they make that's defective believe me....I worked for a company and they had at least 6 people that dealt with customer compalints. The last thing a company wants is to lose customers. Have the product package available since they may ask for some information that's printed on it. They normally will send a refund or product redemption certificates.

I am SO frustrated!!! I love the Ultra Thin w/ wings, but lately, I've had to throw out many unused pads because they've been defective. I am wasting my money on pads that have adhesive on the wrong side (on the pad itself... Ouch!!) and now I've got an entire package with one wing stuck to the wrong side of its peel off paper. The peel off paper won't peel and the wing just tears apart when I try to take the paper off.
Please fix these defects!! I can't spend anymore money on products that are unusable.

That's so true....I want the VELCRO back too!!!...a couple of months ago i had a problem with a package of kotex with wings ..I suppose that on the production line....the glue was placed right on the middle (top) of the pad since the wings had folded in...i didnt noticed until i went to remove the pad and it pulled my labia, leaving a nasty burn...i had to throw away the whole package since they were all defective...velcro was so much better....it was the one reason kotex was the "BRAND"

I really like the wings for holding my pad in place. I only wear Overnight maxi-pads the first 2-3 days. I feel the wings are only to hold my pad in place, not to absorb anything. I change about every 2-3 hours the first 2 days. Have not had a problem

HATE THE WINGS!! My wings always get soaked with blood and it gets on my inner thighs. I suppose I am just to heavy of a bleeder to use this product. I received free samples of the overnight pads with wings... same old thing.

You are right on. The sticky wings seem to hold my pad in place very well but I sure don't like the sticky stuff on my sometimes expensive panties!

I stopped buying pads with wings because I hate it when the adhisive sticks to my panties when I remove the pad. I'm forever removing the sticky adhisive from my panties, so to stop this I no longer buy pads with wings. Bring back the velcro wings.

"Oh my God ... please, please, PLEASE bring the velcro wings back! My friends and I have been miserable since they were discontinued. Adhesive wings make Kotex the same as everyone else. Pads are pads (and everyone has thin, thick, long, short, etc.) and wings are wings, but Kotex wings used to stand out and women everywhere rejoiced at no longer having sensitive areas glued, pulled, etc. We DID have happy periods (as much as one can anyway), but not since. Please change it! All you would have to say in advertising is "the velcro is back" followed with your logo and women would flock.

(And personally I've done the math. If these pads come back I'm stocking up in case someone gets in their head to pull this stunt again. :D A 4 day period (normal for me) means about 7 pads per month, times maybe another 8 years until I hit menopause, means I need a stock of about 700 pads. I imagine my husband will be quite horrified when he goes into our basement storage room and finds 50 packs of Kotex, but I don't care either.)" Quoted by Dawn Seven

I'm Noella and I like the wings on my pads. They keep them in place. I have to agree that the adhesive wings on the pads stick to my legs and if I have hair, it sticks to that. It's annoying when you have to go to the bathroom to fix the wings. I've been wondering where the velcro wings went to. It stayed on much better and the wings didn't stick to the pad in my underwear.

Dawn Seven, I use more than a bag of 48 pads from another brand. I'm guilty, but I go back to the expensive brands when my flow's too heavy even if I get the protective guard in the middle of the pad with four wall protection. I use stayfree, Kotex, Always, and other brands if they're on sale. I wish Kotex had some coupons and that might help me out when I buy pads. It seems I use two pads during the day and night if it's too heavy.

I really like wings on my pads, but they sometime don't stay fixed under my panties during my period. Is there any tricks to making sure the wings stay in place?
